A & P Inspector

Job Description:

Dean Baldwin Painting (DBP) has been providing our customers with enduring aircraft paint processes, unsurpassed quality, and on-time deliveries. We take great pride in every aircraft painted at our facilities.

Our Peru, Indiana facility operates 24/7, and A&P Mechanics and A&P Inspectors are integral to our operation. We are currently seeking skilled aviation professionals to join our team and help ensure every aircraft meets the highest standards of safety, quality, and performance.

? Positions Available

A&P Inspector

Our A&P Inspectors ensure all technical data, regulations, and company standards are met. They certify the quality of workmanship, including signing mechanical flight releases.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform preliminary, hidden damage, receiving/incoming, in-progress, and final inspections.
Verify inspection forms and work packages are complete and accurate.
Update maintenance tracking programs and generate maintenance due lists.
Make airworthiness determinations per FAA and company standards.
Review and apply FAA specifications, ADs, manufacturer’s instructions, and technical data.
Monitor removed parts and ensure proper documentation.
Follow policies and procedures in DBP repair station manuals.

Job Requirements:

Requirements:

A&P certificate (14 CFR Part 65.83).
Verifiable aircraft maintenance employment within the last 2 years.
Minimum of 5 years commercial or regional aircraft experience.
Familiar with FAR Parts 53, 65, 91, 121, 135, and 145.
Computer literate with ability to learn new software.
Must pass drug/alcohol screening, background and security checks.
Valid driver’s license and eligibility to work in the U.S.
