QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION: High School Diploma or equivalent
EXPERIENCE: 1 year minimum with scheduling procedures preferred. Strong organizational skills, detail-oriented skills, PC skills & knowledge of AS-400. Manufacturing software a plus. Demonstrating an understanding of dependent demand, back-flushing, load scheduling and MRP concepts.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
Reviews master production schedule and routers to meet the weekly/monthly/yearly plan. Creates alternates for parts that need non-standard work done. Will need to have or develop a very good understanding of the process and steps required for each part at each operation. Must have good communication skills and ability to multi-task. Ability to learn all aspects of the production control responsibilities for the facility.
SPECIFIC DUTIES:
- Primary responsibility is for alternates to keep parts moving through the “rework” or non-standard operations.
- Aid in the production control dept (create routers, serialize at melt, adjust schedules, alts, etc.)
- Understand scrap percentages by product and include these measurements in the scheduling process.
- Assist in the flow of parts through the facility.
