Job Description

As a PCB Assembler/Rework Specialist, you will engage in a range of production assembly operations, from repetitive to non-repetitive tasks, on electronic and mechanical assemblies. This role involves working from diagrams and drawings, making initial layouts, and utilizing hand and power tools. You will perform continuity checks and quality inspections, as well as disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test assemblies and subassemblies according to specifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform soldering and desoldering of fine-pitch components on printed circuit boards (PCBs).
• Solder surface mount components to PCBs.
• Repair damaged traces, through-hole pads, and surface mount pads on PCBs.
• Repair damaged internal circuitry on PCBs and replace damaged gold contacts.
• Remove and replace through-hole and surface mount components.
• Conduct hot gas surface mount component rework for Ball Grid Array (BGA) devices.

• Blueprint reading and assembly experience.
• Proficiency in production, soldering, crimping, and hand assembly.
• Experience with PCB assembly, rework, and touchup.
• Familiarity with fine pitch soldering, desoldering, and BGA.
• IPC Certifications and strong soldering experience on circuit cards.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $24.00/hr.
