Summary:
Manufacture composite aircraft parts according to production specifications
Demonstrate required manufacturing competencies during performance evaluations
Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, lofts, sketches, and operation sheets
Use precision measuring tools including 6-inch scales, micrometers, and dial calipers
Inspect completed work to ensure defect-free assemblies prior to inspection
Maintain production logs and records (MIR, DMT, PCO, DR/DI, etc.)
Maintain clean and organized work areas and comply with FOD, 5S, and safety programs
Support Lean manufacturing initiatives
Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED 2 years of composite manufacturing experience
Ability to work with composite resins and materials
Ability to read and interpret blueprints
Ability to read and use a 6-inch scale
Basic computer skills
Must meet physical requirements of the position
Must be able to work any shift
Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
