Summary:
Manufacture composite aircraft parts according to engineering and production specifications
Demonstrate required manufacturing competencies during performance evaluations
Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, lofts, sketches, and operation sheets to determine process sequence
Inspect completed work to ensure defect-free assemblies prior to quality inspection
Maintain production documentation and logs (MIR, DMT, PCO, DR/DI, etc.)
Maintain clean, organized work areas and follow FOD, 5S, and safety program standards
Support Lean manufacturing initiatives
Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED
Basic computer skills
1 year of composite manufacturing experience
Ability to work with composite resins and materials
Ability to read and interpret blueprints
Ability to read and use a 6-inch scale
Must meet physical requirements of the role
Ability to work any shift as required
Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
