PURPOSEWorkstream Lead will lead the delivery of the Airport Master Systems Integration (MSI) project, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives, stakeholder requirements, and regulatory standards. This role requires extensive experience in the built environment and airport operational contexts, with a strong understanding of Australian infrastructure and aviation standards. The workstream lead will oversee planning, execution, and governance of the MSI program, coordinating multidisciplinary teams and managing risks, budgets, and timelines.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Lead the end-to-end delivery of the Airport MSI program, ensuring integration across systems and stakeholders.
- Develop and manage program plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocations.
- Coordinate with airport authorities, contractors, technology vendors, and regulatory bodies.
- Ensure compliance with Australian building codes, aviation regulations, and cybersecurity standards.
- Oversee risk management, change control, and issue resolution processes.
- Facilitate program governance, reporting, and stakeholder communication.
- Ensure alignment between MSI deliverables and airport operational requirements.
- Support procurement, contract management, and vendor performance monitoring.
- Promote continuous improvement and innovation in systems integration and program delivery.
Qualifications
EXPERIENCE- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, Information Systems, or related field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in program management within the built environment, preferably at airports.
- Proven experience delivering complex systems integration projects.
- Certification in project/program management (e.g., PMP, MSP, PRINCE2).
- Strong understanding of Australian infrastructure standards and airport operational environments.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS- Experience with airport systems such as AODB, BHS, FIDS, CUPPS, and security systems.
- Familiarity with digital transformation initiatives in aviation.
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, JIRA).
- Ability to manage multi-vendor environments and complex stakeholder landscapes.
