Warehouse Supervisor - BYH

Job Description:

This position will be responsible for managing the overall warehouse/stores operation at their designated station.

Essential Duties:

Logistics Operations. Control over the functions of warehousing, distribution, transportation and the inventory for which the Warehousing and Distribution Department is the custodian. Comply with DOT, OSHA, FAA and other pertinent US and international regulations.
Attains physical and transactional control over the inventory assigned to Warehousing and Distribution. This includes maintaining stock quantity, integrity shelf life, and effective stockroom practices within the warehouse and distribution system
Protects Company property assigned to the department. This includes ensuring that inventory, property and equipment are kept clean, protected and in operating condition at all times.
Manpower administration, including staffing, to meet operational requirements, posting work and vacation schedules for all personnel under their jurisdiction and maintaining files for each person under his jurisdiction.
Financial responsibility; administer the approved budget, operational costs, inventory transactions, and overtime. Plans for future needs including space, manpower, and equipment.
Safety; administers an effective safety program and maintains safe and healthy working conditions. Promotes safety and security for all people under the Manager’s jurisdiction. Enforces safety regulations as they pertain to the Warehousing and Distribution System.
Leads the workforce and staff. Evaluates the performance and provide feedback at least annually.
Establishes and maintains working relationships with other departments within the Company and develop efficiencies. Participates in production meetings to facilitate integration of the supply chain with Maintenance Production, Planning and Engineering.
Coordinates with Quality to ensure adherence to Company standards, procedures and FAA regulations related to inventory integrity.
Performs any additional duties and responsibilities as assigned in order to achieve department and Company objectives.

Job Requirements:

3+ years of experience as a Warehouse Supervisor is required; aviation experience is a plus.

Good communication and interpersonal skills as the individual must be able to work with various corporate personnel and field personnel.
Outstanding communication and analytical skills.
Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office; intermediate Excel skills.
