We are seeking a highly motivated Aircraft Procurement & Asset Manager to lead acquisition strategies, manage inventory, and build strong industry relationships that drive long-term growth.

Position Overview

The Vice President of Supply Chain is a senior executive responsible for leading West Star Aviation’s end-to-end supply chain strategy, operations, and execution.  This role oversees procurement, sourcing, logistics, and inventory management to ensure efficiency, scalability, and resilience across the Company’s supply chain network.  The VP of Supply Chain partners closely with executive leadership, operations, finance, and commercial teams to align supply chain capabilities with business objectives, customer expectations, and growth strategies.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership:  Develop and execute the long-term supply chain strategy to support organizational growth, profitability, and operational efficiency.
• Operations Oversight:  Lead global supply chain functions including sourcing, procurement, logistics, distribution, inventory management, and demand planning.
• Supplier Management:  Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure quality, reliability, and cost competitiveness; negotiate strategic contracts and partnerships.
• Risk & Resilience:  Identify and mitigate supply chain risks; design contingency and resiliency plans to manage disruptions effectively.
• Cost Optimization:  Drive operational efficiency through process improvements, automation, and technology adoption to reduce cost-to-serve.
• Talent Development:  Build, mentor, and inspire a high-performing supply chain organization with a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration:  Partner with finance, operations, and sales teams to align supply chain strategies with corporate goals.
• Sustainability & Compliance:  Ensure supply chain practices comply with regulatory standards, ethical sourcing, and environmental sustainability initiatives, as applicable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field (Master’s degree or MBA preferred).
• 15+ years of progressive experience in supply chain management, with at least 7 years in senior leadership roles.
• Proven track record of developing and executing [global] supply chain strategies.
• Strong understanding of procurement, logistics, ERP systems, and supply chain technologies.
• Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Experience in driving cost efficiencies while maintaining service excellence.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, complex, and evolving business environment.
• Service minded approach to work; interested in collaborating closely with various business leaders to drive initiatives

The following information is being disclosed per state specific requirements. If the position applied to is not in a state with these requirements, the following information may not apply. The salary range for this position generally ranges between $175,000-$200,000. Actual rate will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience and performance.. The range listed is just one component of the total compensation package. Other forms of compensation include a semiannual discretionary bonus, as well as medical, dental, vision, life, disability, 401k, paid holidays and vacation time.
