Position Overview
The Vice President of Supply Chain is a senior executive responsible for leading West Star Aviation’s end-to-end supply chain strategy, operations, and execution. This role oversees procurement, sourcing, logistics, and inventory management to ensure efficiency, scalability, and resilience across the Company’s supply chain network. The VP of Supply Chain partners closely with executive leadership, operations, finance, and commercial teams to align supply chain capabilities with business objectives, customer expectations, and growth strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute the long-term supply chain strategy to support organizational growth, profitability, and operational efficiency.
- Operations Oversight: Lead global supply chain functions including sourcing, procurement, logistics, distribution, inventory management, and demand planning.
- Supplier Management: Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure quality, reliability, and cost competitiveness; negotiate strategic contracts and partnerships.
- Risk & Resilience: Identify and mitigate supply chain risks; design contingency and resiliency plans to manage disruptions effectively.
- Cost Optimization: Drive operational efficiency through process improvements, automation, and technology adoption to reduce cost-to-serve.
- Talent Development: Build, mentor, and inspire a high-performing supply chain organization with a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with finance, operations, and sales teams to align supply chain strategies with corporate goals.
- Sustainability & Compliance: Ensure supply chain practices comply with regulatory standards, ethical sourcing, and environmental sustainability initiatives, as applicable.
