The Technical Asset Manager – Powerplant Products is directly responsible for the in-depth analysis of related technical and operational data, configuration manuals & records, maintenance records and repair analysis. You are considered as the business’ technical expert in your field and will directly interact with a variety of internal and external parties.
What you should know about the day-to-day:
o Serve as the technical subject matter expert for the company in the area of expertise and provide support to all other
business areas, supporting Sale and Lease functions by providing technical assistance, guidance, and instruction as needed
to enhance asset acquisition, sale, and evaluation process.
o Provide in-depth analysis of technical data with respect to commercial aircraft powerplant products and associated systems,
covering technical and operational data, configuration manuals & records, maintenance records and repairs.
o Perform in-depth analysis of aircraft and maintenance records to determine if service/maintenance checks and overhauls
were performed at prescribed interval and in compliance with applicable regulatory standards.
o Prepare specification sheets and mini packs for the sale of powerplant products
o Review cost and schedule estimates from third party maintenance organizations, and coordinates related company &
technical activities, as needed
o Support any design, repair development and repair sourcing and assessment activities for powerplant products, as needed
o Assist in evaluating Airworthiness Directives and Service Bulletins to support pre/post-buy activities, and for impact to
potential sales, leasing, and other operational opportunities of powerplant products and components thereof
o Make recommendations on purchase, replacement, repair, or modification powerplant products
o Provide post-sale/post-lease support to external customers via sales team to answer technical questions, research/obtain
technical data, and supply any customer required documentation
o Communicate and consult with customers, internal team, and external agents on technical, commercial, and operational
matters related to specialization area
o Other duties, as assigned
We’re a great match for you if you have:
• A Bachelor’s degree, diploma, or FAA Airframe & Powerplant license, or equivalent field experience suited to this role
• 5+ years of experience performing powerplant product technical management
• Strong generalist knowledge in commercial aircraft technical management
• Demonstrable knowledge of all records and regulatory requirements for powerplant products and have specialized
knowledge of back to birth trace for all life-limited parts
• Working expertise with FAA regulations, ATA standards, and EASA regulations
• Substantial experience supporting and navigating cross-functional teams
• Demonstrated history with and ability to use sound judgement and discretion in dealing with outside vendors, coworkers,
customers, and other outside parties
• Strong proficiency with:
o Organization and attention to detail
o Professional communication
o MS Office, particularly Excel, and general office technology
o Leveraging technology to enhance work processes in compliance with industry requirements

Other important information:
While performing the responsibilities of the Technical Asset Manager, you will be seated at a desk, using a phone and computer, most of your workday. Less than 10 of your job duties will require the ability to: walk long distances, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl. The noise level is usually low, as consistent with an office environment. At times, some lifting may be required, up to 50 lbs to sort and move record containers.
