Job Description SummaryIn this role, you will be responsible for leading aspects of the planning and implementation of multiple Talent Management large scale transition efforts. As a Product Manager, you will serve as the ‘Voice of the Customer’ and responsible for the product vision, strategy, and end-to-end value delivery across the product category. You will work closely with the Talent Management, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) and Culture COE team members and with Digital Technology (DT) to coordinate development and management of the product roadmap. You will be accountable for the functional health of the product from ideation through to design, build, deploy, operate, and retirement.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement short and long-term product vision based on GE Aerospace Talent Management, Culture and DEI strategies as we become a standalone organization. Responsible for creating product roadmap(s) for transition and ultimate future strategy, working closely with Talent Management stakeholders, vendors, and technology team.
  • Manage service changes, product backlog and product dependencies based on overall roadmap strategy, business priorities and customer/end users’ needs/readiness.
  • Research latest product and market trends (i.e., Artificial Intelligence / AI) in Talent Management, DEI and Culture solutions with a goal of continuous improvement.  Develop strong relationships with customers/end users to better understand their needs for future development. 
  • Deliver continuous improvements through regular review of product performance reports on adoption rates, customer survey results, service performance metrics.
  • Ensure security compliance and risk-management across the entire product category.
  • Participates/leads cross-functional teams or projects.

Qualifications/ Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 9 years of relevant experience). 
  • Minimum of five years of experience in Human Resources or Talent Management/Development and HR Technology.
  • Workday Talent system experience, or the equivalent, with 3 years of experience is required.
  • Ability to travel up to 10


Desired Characteristics:

  • Proven detailed functional knowledge of talent management/development processes and systems. 
  • Proven ability to keep up with current trends and innovation and how it translates to systems is key, especially in the automation space with AI.
  • Ability to assess quality of information given and elicit requirements from stakeholders. Comfortable with holding discovery sessions, documenting current/future state process through data flow tools and process mapping.
  • Ability to adjust and communicate technical concepts based on audience.
  • Ability to influence, advise and guide others through options and points of view.
  • Ability to structure, analyze and solve problems with creativity.
  • Demonstrated skill in judgement to make decisions and handle complex tasks or problems.
  • Experience in managing Talent Management/Development Products.
  • Knowledge of product performance and experience applying relevant Agile Frameworks and methodologies.
  • Knowledge of product/software delivery lifecycle.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.

Pay and Benefits:

  • The pay for this position is $111,100 - 185,200. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on a percentage of your base salary/ commission based on the plan. This posting is expected to close on March 4th, 2024.
