As a Senior Director Financial Planning and Analysis, you will report to the Chief Financial Officer of Surf Air Mobility. This position is based in Dallas, Texas.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to:

  • Primary owner of forecasts on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis while performing variance analysis to understand key fluctuations across financials
  • Oversee Guidance Process.
  • Serve as key partner to the CFO and problem solver for the business and the FP&A organization
  • Deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual financial projections to operational decision makers and executive management
  • Hire and partner with colleagues to strengthen the FP&A organization. and collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and deliver streamlined processes for the LTP, and establish a systematic process to track the performance of our growth initiatives
  • Raise the bar on how we analyze, project, and optimize KPIs. Develop and continuously improve a KPI reporting landscape that enables and ensures data-driven decision-making
  • Support monthly close process where applicablabe

Education:

  • Bachelors in Accounting, Finance, or Business required

Experience:

  • Experience in startups, consulting, or similar role
  • 10+ years of relevant work experience in Finance and/or Strategic Planning
  • Experience with pro-forma reporting, as well as forecasting and reporting
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills, able to develop and enhance a complex financial modeling and planning infrastructure
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate across business units to achieve results and create organizational alignment
  • Strong business understanding, allowing you to help develop and quantify strategies and tactics that drive incremental growth and optimize costs
  • Self-motivated, deliverable-focused, strong work ethic, enthusiastic and ambitious attitude, able to prioritize and resolve an array of issues simultaneously

Miscellaneous Requirements:

  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Computer, phone skills
  • Ability to read, write and speak English effectively
  • Ability to pass 7-year background check and pre-employment drug screen per airline regulations and/or company policy
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Authorized to work in the U.S. per the Immigration Act of 1986
