Description: You will be the Subcontract Manager for the GMLRS Global Supply Chain team. Our team is responsible for facilitating the procurement cycle from beginning to end, ensuring the delivery of quality products on time to our customers in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Subcontract Manager, you will be responsible for managing the procurement process and serving as the primary liaison between Lockheed Martin and our suppliers. You will communicate customer concerns, expedite delivery schedules, and track engineering revisions and material needs, all while operating in a cross-functional environment.
Your responsibilities will include:
•Administering and managing major subcontracts from proposal to close out
•Issuing Proprietary Information Agreements and generating RFP packages
•Analyzing and evaluating subcontractor proposals, negotiating prices and terms, and monitoring subcontractor performance
•Issuing subcontracts and modifications, and generating required documentation
•Coordinating with Finance on baselining and sales forecasting activities

Basic Qualifications:
•Supply Chain, logistics, or project management experience.
•Must be proficient Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
•Must have the ability to obtain a secret clearance.
•Excellent communications skills
•Ability and willingness to travel to support fact-finding efforts and face-to-face negotiations
Desired Skills:
•Working knowledge of SAP and/or LMP2P Business Systems
•Cross-functional knowledge of Supplier Quality and Engineering, as they relate to subcontract management
•Ability to create and present using Microsoft Office tools
•Ability to interact with senior management, suppliers and other external personnel on significant matters, often requiring coordination between functional organizations

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
