Description: You will be the Subcontract Management Senior for the Missiles and Fire Control Advanced Programs team. Our team is responsible for securing the future of the company and warfighter through program and product development, and you will play a key role in managing subcontracts to support multiple prime contract customers.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Subcontract Management Senior, you will be responsible for managing moderate-to-high-risk subcontracts, serving as the primary liaison between Lockheed Martin and suppliers, and ensuring compliance with established procedures. You will work with minimal supervision to solve problems and achieve program objectives.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Leading cross-functional Subcontract Management Teams
• Managing the procurement cycle from request for proposal to purchase order closeout
• Preparing and issuing Requests for Proposal, evaluating proposals, and negotiating contracts
• Managing supplier relationships, cost, schedule, and performance issues
• Monitoring and performing Earned Value analysis of supplier costs
• Maintaining accuracy of purchasing documents and data

Basic Qualifications:
Ability to obtain US Secret Security Clearance
Prior experience with procurement, supply chain and/or subcontracts on US Government programs
Ability and willingness to travel to supplier facilities to participate in negotiations/meetings and to resolve subcontract/program issues on-site, as needed.
Ability to interface effectively with all levels of management and suppliers to achieve desired program objectives.
Desired Skills:
Knowledge of acquisition policies and procedures such as FAR/DFAR/LMAP/ and MFC Work Instructions
Demonstrated problem solving skills, business acumen and ability to make business-based decisions
Experience managing complex subcontracts
Contract/TINA negotiations experience
Experience with Cost Plus, Fixed Price and T&M subcontract types
Ability to operate in and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
P2P, SCNav, SAP Experience
Control Account Management (CAM) Experience
Cross-functional knowledge of Supplier Quality and Engineering, as they relate to subcontract management.
Excellent communications, negotiations, presentation, and documentation skills.
Ability to create and present using Microsoft Office tools.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
