PURPOSEThe Sourcing Manager will be responsible for leading strategic procurement initiatives and managing sourcing activities to support the successful delivery of airport infrastructure and technology projects. This role requires strong procurement capabilities, vendor management skills, and prior experience in Master Systems Integration (MSI) at airports. The ideal candidate will also have a solid understanding of the built environment and construction project lifecycles.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Develop and execute sourcing strategies aligned with project goals and timelines.
- Lead procurement activities including RFP/RFQ development, bid evaluation, and contract negotiations.
- Manage supplier relationships and performance to ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, IT, and operations to align sourcing with technical requirements.
- Ensure procurement processes adhere to regulatory and organizational standards.
- Support budgeting and cost control efforts through effective sourcing and value engineering.
- Contribute to risk management and mitigation strategies related to procurement and vendor delivery.
- Provide procurement support for MSI-related systems and technologies across airport operations.
Qualifications
EXPERIENCE- Bachelorโs degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
- 7+ years of experience in strategic sourcing and procurement, preferably in infrastructure or aviation projects.
- Demonstrated experience in Master Systems Integration (MSI) at airports.
- Strong understanding of the built environment and construction project lifecycles.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in procurement tools and ERP systems.
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS- Experience with airport systems such as AODB, FIDS, BHS, CUPPS.
- Knowledge of public sector procurement regulations and compliance.
- Familiarity with digital transformation and smart infrastructure initiatives.
- Certification in procurement (e.g., CIPS, CPM) is an advantage.
