Not RequiredCollins Aerospace is searching for a Senior Value Stream Manager (Program Manager) to join our team within Engine Control Systems (ECS) in the Power & Controls business unit. In this role, you will be accountable for managing the overall customer relationship and business performance, including Profit & Loss (P&L), throughout the product lifecycle. You will lead new business opportunities and oversee both military and commercial programs for one of our key customers. The ideal candidate will take ownership of all aspects of program execution, including customer satisfaction, contractual obligations, deliverables, schedules, budgets, engineering coordination, operations, and on-time delivery.
Ideally, this will be a hybrid role (combination of onsite and remote work) based in Windsor Locks, CT. Will consider preferred candidates for a remote role that will include 25 travel.
What You Will Do
Lead program execution across assigned customer programs, ensuring alignment with contractual requirements, cost, schedule, quality, and on-time delivery commitments.
Manage the full product and program lifecycle, including pursuit and order capture, design and development, production and delivery, service and support, and long-term strategic planning.
Serve as Chair of the Integrated Project Team (IPT), providing direction and coordination across engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, procurement, and other functional organizations.
Drive informed decision-making within the IPT, applying sound judgment and critical thinking in situations involving incomplete or evolving data.
Establish and maintain strong internal and external working relationships, clearly communicating program objectives, priorities, and expectations to stakeholders.
Own Profit & Loss (P&L) responsibility for an assigned value stream within the Control Systems segment.
Lead customer-facing activities, including ongoing program communication, issue resolution, and performance reporting.
Coordinate closely with operations, production, and supply chain teams to support delivery execution and customer schedule requirements.
Represent assigned programs to senior leadership, providing clear updates on delivery performance, production capacity, financial status, and customer satisfaction.
Provide day-to-day leadership and work direction for cross-functional team members supporting the program.
Plan and facilitate program reviews, team meetings, and recurring business rhythms.
Manage program financials, including sales forecasts and delivery-based revenue planning.
Drive overall business performance for assigned programs, including operational execution, sales, EBIT performance, and cost reduction initiatives.
Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through effective communication, accurate reporting, and professional presentation materials.
Manage and communicate demand, orders, and delivery status within the operations value stream.
Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience
Working experience within Program Management, Product Support, Supply Chain, Contracts or similar field.
Qualifications We Prefer
Demonstrated experience in Program Management
Customer facing experience at the highest levels of the customer and company.
Experience in production and spare demand management and planning.
Demonstrated experience in contract negotiation and contract change management.
Experience with P&L responsibilities
Demonstrated experience identifying program risks and developing mitigating action plans to execute.

Role type definition:
Hybrid: Employees who are working in Hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite. Ratio of time working onsite will be determined in partnership with your leader.
Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home). An employee may be expected to travel to the site location as needed.
*Position is remote; however, if you live within a reasonable commute of a Collins site with other colleagues you interact with, your manager will discuss whether there is a degree of onsite presence associated with this role.

The salary range for this role is 132,400 USD - 251,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
