Our Pratt & Whitney Component Solutions organization has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Manager of Finance.
This is an onsite position based out of our facilities in Muskegon, Michigan.
What You Will Do:
- Manage the relationship between local site and central Finance.
- Partners with Controller/GM and leadership team to drive operational performance.
- Actively participates with local and parent leadership teams for strategic objectives and planning.
- Oversee the daily functions of the Finance area with full P&L responsibilities - to include Intercompany and 3rd Party AR/AP. Full GL close with localized FP&A requirements.
- Directly supervise a finance team of four with varying degrees of experience, providing opportunities for growth through mentoring & coaching.
- Oversee the annual requirements and reporting to include Balance Sheet Review, Sarbanes Oxley compliance and associated functions.
- Interpretation and communication of various accounting rulings and policies along with translation of facts and statistics into trends and relationships to guide senior management in directing the business.
- Active participation for Process Improvements as part of the continuous improvement program (CORE Champion).
- AdHoc reporting as requested from Executive team within parent organization structure (P&WC, Pratt, RTX).
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance and 10+ years of experience in Accounting or Finance; OR an Advanced degree in Accounting or Finance and 7+ years of experience in Accounting or Finance.
- Leadership experience across departments or projects.
- Solid understanding of US GAAP and Accounting Principles.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen - this position may require access to systems/tools that are restricted to individuals who possess US citizenship.
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Experience preparing and reporting data to executive leadership.
- Ability to anticipate, analyze, and resolve financial issues.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Proficiency in SAP, Hyperion Financial Management (HFM), OneStream and Microsoft Office applications.

This role is:
Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.

The salary range for this role is 124,000 USD - 250,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
