The ideal candidate will lead the end-to-end applications development, translating architectural designs into functional, high‑quality code.The position requires strong capability across both frontend and backend technologies, ensuring that performance, security, and scalability are consistently prioritized throughout the development lifecycle.Additionally, the candidate is expected to help bridge the gap between traditional enterprise architecture and emerging machine learning capabilities, enabling the organization to modernize systems and leverage intelligent, data-driven solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop API integration interface with multiple Observability and ITSM platforms to extract telemetry for operational visibility.Build responsive, high-performance user interface using modern frameworks.Design and deploy cloud native applications in Red Hat OpenShift Service on AWS (ROSA).Plan, design, implement and maintain automated solutions to replace manual processes. Design and develop applications, tooling, and enhancements, focusing on clean, efficient, and well-documented code across the full technology stack.Design and implement intelligent features by integrating Large Language Models (LLMs) or generative AI APIs into the application ecosystem.Work closely with software developers, product managers, and application teams to integrate automation into the full lifecycle of a project.Provide technical leadership and mentoring to engineering teams in back-end architecture, development, and operational excellence.Server as a senior SME for Automation practice, providing guidance on best practices and architecture decisions.Define, document, and enforce security standards, procedures, and access controls to ensure integrity.

What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications) 7+ years of IT experience, including 4+ years of hands-on software development.Demonstrated AWS cloud experience in AWS Lambda functions, AWS RDS, AWS Cloud formation, AWS S3 and Infrastructure as Code.Strong understanding of web services, APIs and microservices architectures.Expertise with AWS AI services, intelligent agents and MCPsExperience deploying and supporting Red Hat OpenShift on AWS for high traffic, production workloads.Working experience with scripting languages such as Java and Python.Experience with data serialization language YAML and data interchange format JSON.Experience with version control Git and collaborative workflows GitHub/GitLabExcellent analytical skills, capable of creating scalable processes and methodologies in an Agile environment.Database experience with relational databases, PostgreSQL, MySQL and/or NoSQL.Experience diagnosing and tunning SQL queries.Working knowledge of IT monitoring and observability tools like Dynatrace, Prometheus, AWS CloudWatch, IBM SevOne and PagerDuty.Ability to clearly communicate technical challenges and solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.A Proactive approach to problem-solving with the ability to foresee how changes impact the entire ecosystem.Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data.
