ABOUT THE ROLE:
Be a key part of creating and shaping a new team that brings together cross-functional departments to accelerate business growth. This role will focus on building collaboration, driving strategic initiatives, and ensuring alignment across diverse functions to deliver measurable impact.
In addition being accountable for the end-to-end management of specific contracts and/or key customers in support of business objectives and business growth throughout the life cycle of the contract. Accountable for delivering and implementing the full range of contract activities following contract management best practices policy and process throughout the organisation in support of standard tailored or complex bids during pre-sales and post sales phases.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
Team Formation & Leadership
- Lead the creation of a new cross-functional team, ensuring representation from key departments.
- Define team structure, roles, and responsibilities to maximise efficiency and collaboration.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Act as the central point of coordination between departments such as Sales, Marketing, Product, and Operations.
- Facilitate communication and decision-making to ensure alignment and timely execution.
Performance & Impact
- Set clear KPIs and success metrics for the team.
- Monitor progress and report on outcomes to senior leadership.
PRE SALES
- Be the main contractual interface to internal and external customers.
- Prepare and approve contract documents for legal review or support preparation of contractual documents depending on the complexity of the deal.
- Review understand and manage customer contract(s).
- Support the bid team to work within the requirements terms and conditions of the contract to meet contractual obligations and commitments- both on behalf of SITA and the client.
- Support the resolution of issues linked to contractual / process issues. Help identify assess and manage contractual risk as part of the bid team.
POST SALES
- To be the subject manager expert for each contract under their responsibility.
- Help identify assess manage and resolve contractual risk as part of the project team.
- Identify and document potential contractual breaches / exceptions by either SITA or the client and address with the project team to mitigate risk.
- Assist project teams account teams billing and relevant parties to support correct invoices for all services Key link to Billing & Finance to produce ad hoc one off invoices via billing process.
- Lead the project team to work within the requirements terms and conditions of the contract to meet contractual obligations and commitments - both on behalf of SITA and the client.
- Lead responses to change notices with impact on cost and time and terms and conditions.
- Lead the negotiation of changes and disputes and keep contract documentation up-to-date as a result.
Qualifications
Who are you- +10 years of proven experience in leading contract negotiation and execution in a Telecommunication or IT company in an international context.
- Legal background is welcome but is not compulsory.
- Ability to clearly explain legal concepts and to firmly protect SITA contractual interests.
- Strong experience in performing contract review and risk assessment
- Extensive experience in managing structuring, positioning, and negotiating complex contracts.
- strong command in English language

EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Bachelors Degree but ideally Business Management Degree Finance Degree.
