Provide first-line support and protection to the Grafton facility buildings and plant equipment. Control both the flow of people and trucks into the facility and ensure the safety of our employees by following guidelines on proper entrance. Ensures the smooth transfer of information to needed parties and tracks information through appropriate logs when necessary.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Preparing reports, maintaining logs, and ensuring the upkeep of departmental records
- Enforcing strict adherence to policies and procedures
- Opens gate to allow entrance or exit of employees, truckers, and authorized visitors.
- Checks credentials or approved roster before admitting anyone and issues passes at own discretion or on instructions from superiors
- May supervise use of time clocks for recording arrival and departure of employees
- Answers telephone as main Wyman-Gordon contact and transfers calls to appropriate areas
- Knowledge and responsibility of plant evacuation, fire response, spill response, severe weather, power failures and more
- Responsibility of emergencies services, ambulances and government agent arrivals
- Notifies supervisors of call outs
- Pages the main plant
- Other duties as needed
REQUIREMENTS:
- High school Diploma or GED
- Knowledge of business operations
- Technical aptitude
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Willingness to work in a fast paced environment
- Requires early morning start
SPECIAL SKILL AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Preferred experience in customer service or security
- Knowledge of manufacturing environment is preferred
- Proficient with use of computer applications and phones
- Ability to assist in emergency situations

For informational purposes only, the range of pay for this role is $47000 to $70,500 US Dollar (USD) Salaried based on a variety of factors. For informational purposes only, this role is eligible to participate in the Company’s Quarterly Cash Bonus Plan, paid out at the quarterly bonus factor of 1.5X the Company’s bonus multiple, based on the Company’s performance in the applicable quarter. Employees will receive 120 hours paid time off every year. Employees will also receive 10 paid holidays.
