Job Description:

Employee will be part of the Deployment Pool and will be required to support TDY deployments to various CONUS/OCONUS locations as required. Oversees and coordinates the work effort of assigned subordinate personnel in support of the unit’s daily RPA operations. Responsible for cost, schedule and technical performance of the RPA Maintenance (Mx) program at the site level.

Oversees and is responsible for entire OCONUS Site Operation. Accountable for Production, AGE, Supply, Production Control / Planning, Analysis / Metrics and Quality Management aspects of RPA Mx. Acts as primary point of contact for customers at the work site level.

Essential Responsibilities: 

         Oversees the plans, schedules, and work schedules to perform RPA MX work operations. 

         Interfaces with internal and external customers to support flying schedules and plan major maintenance events; completes daily and monthly operational reports. 

         Manages and coordinates research and investigations into RPA MX on-site issues or problems. 

         Evaluates and documents employee performance. 

         Makes recommendations to higher level supervision or management concerning hires, promotions, raises, and terminations. 

         Interviews prospective employees as required. 

         Manages Site productivity on a day-to-day basis. 

         Plans professional development of employees within the group. 

         Counsels and advises employees. 

         Writes reports and completes other routine correspondence. 

         Communicates effectively with customers as a senior representative of the company. 

         Participates in advisory groups concerning training and management. 

         Implements technical and procedural guidelines for performance of work in the group. 

         Communicates with technical or administrative specialists. 

         Performs all other duties as assigned or requested.

 Minimum Requirements:

 

         Must have Bachelor’s degree (with 6 years’ experience); or Associates degree (with 8 years’ experience) or high School diploma (with 10 years’ experience), or have completed relevant military and/or vocational technical school curriculum. 

         Minimum of eight (8) years of diverse management experience; and excellent communication, analytical, project management and supervisory skills. 

         Must have desktop computer skills with proficiency in full range of Microsoft Office products; must be capable of preparing management level reports and presentations. 

         Minimum of ten-plus years actual Aviation Mx experience required. 

         Must have working knowledge of basic and complex maintenance and repair procedures. 

         Must possess thorough knowledge of technical publications related to Aircraft Mx. 

         Must know theory and principles of operation of aircraft engines, accessories and components, theory of flight and electronic flight controls, and knowledge of electrical and electronic principles. 

         This is a non-traditional position that will support a flexible work schedule. 

         Must achieve a passing grade in all required courses/certifications for continued employment, as needed. 

         Employee must meet all overseas/OCONUS travel criteria, to include Pre-deployment medical screening (if req) as a condition of employment. 

         Must be able to Deploy to Forward Locations (other countries) as Directed by the Government

         Must be able to lift, carry and/or wear Military Issued Equipment in excess of 50 pounds for extended periods. 

         Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English. 

         Must submit updated SF-86 within 30 days of hire start date. 

         Must have had an Active Secret US Government Clearance within the last 12 months.  Note: US citizenship is required to obtain a Secret clearance. 

         Must have Current/Active Driver’s License within the United States. 

         Must be able to obtain a Government Driving Permit. 

         Must have valid U.S. Passport with a minimum of one year remaining with at least two facing pairs (four total) of blank Visa pages. 

         Must be fully COVID-19 vaccinated with booster.  Accommodations may be available under limited circumstances.

 Preferred Qualifications:

  

         RPA Operations & Deployment Experience. 

         Prior experience as a Defense Contractor. 

         Prior experience in RPA Aircraft Maintenance. 

         Prior experience as a Site Lead or Site Manager.
