Essential Responsibilities
Strategic
- Lead a global, decentralized team of quality system and process professionals in developing and implementing Quality System strategic improvement.
- Own the GE Aerospace Quality System, to include quality assurance. product surveillance, and monitoring compliance.
- Champion the Lean Transformation and simplification within the Quality Systems Organization and across the enterprise, providing subject matter expertise on processes and problem solving.
- Collaborate with Leadership on Quality System Breakthrough Objectives and Top-Level Improvement Priorities
Organizational
- Lead a decentralized global team of quality professionals.
- Work closely with horizontal team in supply chain, programs, engineering, customer teams, and extended quality organization to drive proactive and preventative quality actions across the enterprise.
- Coach/mentor direct team and extended team in problem solving and process improvement on an ongoing basis.
- Collaborate with third parties on continuous quality system benchmarking and improvement.
Operational
- Assure performance to Quality System health indicators and drive continuous improvement though problem solving.
- Own Quality System management review process and associated enterprise cadence.
- Maintain strong regulatory compliance across sites.
Minimum Qualifications / Requirements
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Operations, or related field
- Minimum 10 years of Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, or related experience
- Experienced People Leader
