Roles and Responsibilities

  • Support overall quality of the conformance in manufacturing, incoming goods control, and inspection of production engines
  • Support and lead process improvements
  • Coordinate with engineering on manufacturing related issues
  • Participate in investigations related to quality issues - create 4 blockers describing investigation/action status – present to plant leader at bi-weekly quality meeting
  • Identify/implement corrective actions for quality issues
  • Support engine sickbays
  • Update/create quality procedures
  • Conduct quarterly workstation audits
  • Serve as focal for internal and external audits (DoD, DNV, FAA, etc.)
  • Support Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis events
  • Investigate/answer all product related quality concerns
  • Support Quality CCC, present quality metrics
  • Input and influence decisions within own discipline and area
  • Work on very complex technological issues or manufacturing processes
  • Solve issues and develop new and innovative approaches to problem solving

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelors degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in Quality)
