Key Responsibilities

Regulatory Compliance: Ensure full compliance with EASA Part 145 and national regulations, staying updated on any changes.
Audit Program Management: Develop and implement the Part 145 audit program, ensuring timely and comprehensive execution.
Conduct Audits: Perform scheduled and unannounced quality audits across maintenance activities and subcontracted services to verify compliance.
Reporting and Corrective Actions: Report findings to directors and ensure the appropriate closure of audit findings through root cause analysis and preventative measures.
Staff Authorization Management: Oversee the Part 145 certifying staff authorization system to ensure adherence to regulatory standards.
Support Independent System Monitoring: Assist in monitoring the efficiency of design organization systems and survey corrective actions as needed.

Qualifications and Experience

Education & Training:
- Formal aviation engineering training.
- Training in Human Factors (HF), Fuel Tank Safety (FTS), and Electrical Wiring Interconnection Systems (EWIS).
Experience:
- Strong knowledge of EASA Part 145 regulations and practical application.
- Proven auditing experience within the aviation industry.
- Previous experience in aircraft maintenance.
- Familiarity with the engineering authorization process.
- Knowledge of Part 21 requirements and the Design Organisation Handbook.
- Understanding of procedure UK.DOP-01 ‘Independent System Monitoring’.
Skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Excellent communication, analytical, and leadership skills.
Other Requirements:
- Eligibility to qualify for UK airside security passes, per DFT regulations.
- Willingness to travel occasionally within the UK and abroad.
