As a valued member of our team specializing in the Public Safety sector, your primary objective revolves around planning and controlling projects in accordance with the Airbus guidelines and signed contracts. You will be responsible for the achievement of the set of business objectives related to contract completion, schedule, customer satisfaction and cost objectives for the projects and care contracts. The role plans the objectives and the consolidated required resources accordingly, but has no direct line managerial duties.

The Project and Care Manager will be in charge of a nationwide Public Safety network in Sweden and manages the ecosystem (third-parties, partners, providers, distributors etc.) as per contract set-up to fulfill Airbus contracts according to Airbus compliance rules. In addition, the role is a key stakeholder of the current transformation from narrowband technologies to Broadband (Agnet). 

The role is the prime Airbus interface to local customers beside Airbus Key Account Manager meaning that in this role you will also be supporting sales opportunities under the lead of local KAM and contributing to the positive development of customer satisfaction, increasing customer proximity and developing relationships with customers, partners and stakeholders.

Your specific tasks include:

• Initiate, plan, execute, monitor & control and close the project activities within time, quality and budget

• Lead the project and care teams (direct or indirect) and coordinate the support with subcontractors as well as Airbus back offices and R&D organizations

• Care contract SLA and KPIs follow-up

• Accountability for the profit and loss of the Airbus project and care and services contract.

• Ensure contract fulfillment according to SLA, with the right level of quality, with the best possible performance and productivity.

• Act as the prime interface for the care services towards Swedish customers, and also towards our main partners.

• Ensure that the projects&care SLAs are implemented with profitability and according to contracts

• Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction within the framework of project&care

 implementation

• Ensure efficient processes and procedures in the area of responsibility

Let’s talk about you – who is set to thrive in this position?

In this role, we need a seasoned expert with 5&43; years of experience in the field of telecommunications and complex project management. 

Our preferred candidate has a completed university degree in e.g. electrical engineering/telecommunications engineering, or corresponding work experience. 

To succeed in this role, we believe you have

• Basic technical knowledge of the structur1e, functioning and application of digital radio/mobile radio systems 4G/5G

• Experience in the rollout of digital radio systems

• Strong communication skills in english and swedish (written and spoken) 

• Good knowledge of project management tools

• Knowledge of service quality

• Basic understanding of business and economics

• Certification in Project Management is meritorious

• Certification within ITIL is meritorious

This role demands result and goal orientation, flexibility, creative and analytical thinking, ability to delegate as well as a structured way of working. You need to have strong communication skills which materializes in excellent presentation and negotiation skills. As the role operates in a highly social context with a wide range of stakeholders, you need to be a team player able to adapt your interaction style to motivate, influence and persuade others.
