How youll help us Keep Climbing (overview & key responsibilities) Delta Professional Services (DPS) is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and manage the planning, execution, and delivery of cross-functional projects and programs enterprise wide. The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the project lifecycle, from initial planning to successful completion, ensuring that objectives are met in alignment with the company’s strategic goals and priorities. This role is a change agent, leading project planning for Delta Professional Services (DPS), a wholly owned subsidiary of Delta Air Lines. DPS is the Premier Instruction Services Company serving major air carriers throughout the United States. This position reports to the DPS General Manager of Revenue and Contract Sales. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/TASKSLead, manage and execute the structure for companywide initiatives related to projects and initiatives Develop comprehensive project plans that detail resource allocation, timelines, deliverables, and budgets.Coordinate and project teams, ensuring all stakeholders are aligned with project objectives. Facilitate meetings stakeholders and clients to discuss project progress, address roadblocks, and identify solutionsEnsure the execution of tasks according to the established project timeline, adjusting as needed to accommodate changing project conditions, goals, and objectivesCommunicate project updates and milestones to stakeholders, including senior managementConduct post-project evaluations to determine areas for improvement and client satisfaction, success, and opportunities Work closely with Managership to identify and prioritize key initiatives that align with DPS’s strategic objectives. What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications) Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience in Operations and or Project Management Microsoft Office 365, Smartsheet and Project familiarizationAbility to successfully execute and manage the scope, schedule, and budget of departmental/functional area projects. Self-motivated and possess strong written and oral communication skills. Ability to operate with a high degree of confidentiality and trust.Should present a professional image and have a strong work ethic and commitment to excellence.
