The Project Manager will support the Federal Law Enforcement Training Centers (FLETC) in Artesia, New Mexico. This role oversees all operational support services in accordance with contract requirements, ensuring effective planning, coordination, and execution of facility operations. The PM will manage a multi-functional Operations & Maintenance (O&M) team and ensure high‑quality performance across all service areas.
Scope of Work
Except for Government-Furnished Property (GFP), the Contractor shall furnish all personnel, supervision, management, equipment, materials, transportation, and supplies required to plan, schedule, coordinate, and ensure effective performance of all services necessary to provide facility operational support services for FLETC, Artesia.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the on-site Project Manager responsible for overall contract performance.
- Provide leadership, supervision, and direction to multi-functional O&M staff.
- Plan, schedule, and coordinate all required facility support operations.
- Ensure compliance with contract requirements, facility standards, and federal regulations.
- Oversee functional areas including scheduling, inventory, maintenance, logistics, custodial services, lawn care, and other operational support functions.
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and cost estimates.
- Monitor performance metrics and ensure timely completion of all deliverables.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for government representatives.
- Prepare reports, maintain accurate documentation, and address operational issues proactively.
- Ensure safe work practices and adherence to all safety and security standards.
Qualifications
- 5–10 years of experience managing a multi-functional O&M contract.
- Bachelor’s degree in facilities management, contracts management, engineering, or related field
– OR technical training/licensing with progressive management experience. - Prior experience serving as a Project Manager on federal contracts.
- Demonstrated working knowledge of the operational areas under this contract
(such as scheduling, inventory, maintenance, logistics, custodial services, lawn care, etc.). - Strong experience with cost estimating and project planning.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
- Experience supporting facility operations within a federal environment.
