Job Description:

Core Responsibilities:

  • Working within the Commercial Excellence operating system including contract review, new order entry, contract administration, contract negotiation, and RFQ/Quoting/Proposal activity through the product life cycle.
  • Manage positive customer relationship and consistently interface with the customer.
  • Lead contract interpretation, discussion, and drafting and negotiation activity for all opportunities both new and legacy for the Warren division.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate risks to ensure programs meet customer expectation.
  • Action item tracking: manage and ensure on time completion of cross functional deliverables.
  • Communicate and ensure compliance with management of program scope creep and effective customer communications.
  • Disseminate contract requirements, deliverables, and terms and conditions to functional areas.
  • Create program milestone schedules including contract review, Engineering programming and planning, first article inspection, and production delivery dates.
  • Develop project status reporting (delivery schedule performance), project cost tracking and budget control.
  • Create and maintain Sales Order backlog in ERP system.
  • Participate in Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Actions (RRCA) as required.
  • Coordinate with other departments in regard to contract administration, delivery commitments, configuration control, charge backs, customer POs, contract reviews, action item tracking, and issue resolution.
  • ITAR compliance

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience in a contract management/ account management related position in a manufacturing environment.
  • Contracts experience with commercial, international, and direct and indirect government contracts. FAR, DFARS knowledge a plus.
  • Strong analytical ability with excellent attention to detail, follow-up and organizational skills.
  • Impeccable integrity; superior communication and interpersonal skills; ability to effectively tailor messaging with and for all levels of the organization.
  • Familiarity of lean process management to enable continuous improvement.
  • Understanding of bid and contract language and standard procedures.

Education Requirements:

B.S. degree in related business or years of experience in lieu of Education.
