  • Two (2) years’ experience in a manufacturing environment and at least two (2) years’ experience in related area of available position(s).
  • Must be teamwork oriented.
  • Have the ability to display knowledge and commitment to what is important for success of the team.
  • Have commitment to self-development; actions and communication are consistent with GE leadership behaviors.
  • Ability and willingness to complete required training (MML, Kata, etc.) completing and passing all required instruction.
  • Evaluations will occur at the 60, 120 day, and 6mth milestones, with report out presentations on sustained progress required.
  • This is a Pilot Program Position contingent on all requirements being met successfully. Compensation will follow upon successful completion of all requirements.
  • This role is restricted to U.S. persons (i.e., US. citizens, permanent residents, and other protected individuals under the Immigration and Naturalization Act, 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)) due to access to export-controlled technology. GE will require proof of status prior to employment.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

  • Ensures team members understand the safety focus in the team and actively ensures a safe working environment; demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ensures all jobs are covered by qualified people to meet the daily customer demand (takt time).
  • Accepts responsibility for quality (both incoming and outgoing) for the team.
  • Engage in problem-solving; updates the CCC board(s) with problem-solving daily.
  • Executes Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost with continuous improvement activities.
  • Trains new employees on processes and procedures.
  • Fills in to cover the line when team members are out.
  • Sets daily schedule for job rotations.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to occasionally use hands and fingers in repetition.
  • Ability to occasionally bend, stoop, twist, crouch, squat, climb, and/or balance.
  • Ability to continuously sit or stand; ability to occasionally lift to 25 lbs.; ability to push/pull up to 25 lbs.

The pay for this position is $24/hr.  This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on a percentage of your base salary/ commission based on the plan.  This posting is expected to close on 3/24/24.
