ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Payroll Manager to lead our EURO Payroll team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the team, ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing, and overseeing all payroll-related activities. This role requires a strong understanding of payroll regulations and best practices, as well as excellent leadership and organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage the EURO Payroll team, providing guidance and support to team members.
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll for all employees within the EURO region.
- Develop and maintain payroll policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local regulations and company standards.
- Oversee the preparation and submission of payroll-related reports and filings.
- Manage the payroll checklists and ensure all tasks are completed accurately and on time.
- Collaborate with HR, Finance, and other departments to address payroll-related issues and provide solutions.
- Conduct regular checks of payroll processes to identify and address any discrepancies or areas for improvement.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in payroll laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
- Work closely with the Global Operations team and the General Ledger (GL) team to ensure seamless integration of payroll processes.
- Provide training and development opportunities for payroll team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Qualifications
EXPERIENCEo 7+ years experience of HR related disciplines with 5 years in a HR Operations environment.
o 7+ years experience in managerial roles which required interactions with senior management.
o Experience working in complex international/multi-cultural and fast moving environment.
o Sound HRIS management (reporting audit database management) is preferred.
o Fluent in English and specific regional language.
o Bachelors degree in business human resources organizational psychology or equivalent.
o Member of professional HR association.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in payroll management, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of payroll regulations and best practices within the EURO region.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Demonstrated experience in team management.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or similar certification.
- Experience with multinational payroll processing.
- Fluency in English and any additional language is a plus.
