What are your contributions to the team?
Supervise assigned aircraft maintenance employees and responsible for the daily and overall operations of the aircraft maintenance department, to include safety, schedules, personnel, and quality.
• Encourage and promote a safe work environment by supervising a safety, security program
• Perform supervisory responsibilities such as performance & development management, time keeping, hiring, dismissals and lead/coordinate daily meetings
• Coordinate the completion of all planned and ad-hoc maintenance
• Ensure that work is performed in accordance with Repair Station, Federal Aviation Regulations
• Monitor housing and facilities safety requirements and report any insufficiency
• Engage with customers regarding Aircraft Maintenance
• Identify and communicate best practices and champion continuous improvement initiatives
• Manage database and reporting to ensure labor efficiency is in line with work order
How to thrive in this role?
• Have 3 years of experience in performing aircraft heavy line maintenance and inspection procedures
• Have leadership experience; Aircraft Maintenance preferred
• Possess an Airframe & Powerplant certificate or certificated under Federal Aviation Regulations, part 65
• Be familiar with aircraft inspection system and procedures, Environmental, Health and Safety rules and regulations
• Have excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
• Demonstrate effective leadership and coaching skills with the ability to develop people
• Have strong organizational and planning skills
• Possess proficient computer skills
