The Fuel Facility Operations Manager is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the fuel facility, ensuring compliance with all safety protocols and regulatory standards. This role encompasses the comprehensive management of day-to-day operations, including fuel scheduling, manpower planning, fuel quality audits, budgeting and forecasting, and performance management. The Operations Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing administrative, operational, and security tasks, maintaining equipment and facility upkeep, and promoting a culture of safety and excellence.
In addition to operational oversight, the Fuel Facility Operations Manager works closely with the Station Manager and key airline representatives to ensure all customer service standards are met, while actively driving improvements in inventory management, customer satisfaction, and overall facility performance. This position requires a detail-oriented professional with strong leadership skills and a commitment to creating efficient, compliant, and high-quality fuel facility operations.
The expected pay rate is $70,000 - $75,000/yr. Full-time employees are offered a range of health and wellness benefits as well as 401(k) with company match paid vacation time, sick time, and company paid holidays.
Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, including FAA, TSA, IATA, ATA, U.S. Customs, airport authority, and company rules and regulations.
Oversee adherence to fuel quality and safety standards, including ATA 103 Fuel Quality Control Specifications, NFPA 407, and FAR Part 139.321.
Monitor and manage staffing, time, and attendance to minimize reliance on overtime, maintaining an efficient and productive workforce.
Actively monitor and drive performance to achieve location-specific KPIs, including employee safety, on-time performance, and financial targets.

Supervise and support subordinate staff, providing coaching, counseling, and disciplinary action as needed to uphold company policies.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree preferred, with a focus on Facility Management, Operations Management, or a related field.
Technical and Analytical Skills:
Strong ability to read, interpret, and apply business literature, technical documentation, safety protocols, and government regulations.
Organizational and Communication Skills:
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
