Essential Responsibilities:
As Manufacturing Excellence Leader, key responsibilities will include:
- Lead accelerated cross functional efforts to achieve Defect Per Unit reduction targets and First Time Yield attainment, yielding process improvement and enablement through high engagement.
- Drive the operating cadence, alignment and coaching on high quality problem solving for DPU and Supplier engagement focus areas. Partner with part family producibility leaders and GMs to connect business level DPU KPI all the way to cell level, problem solving to achieve business improvement in flow, delivery, and cost.
- Create a network across engineering, shops and sources that excels at problem solving and improving process. Develop strong relationship with sourcing to improve key supplier relationships and drive the same in the supply base.
- Build a vision for standards … mfg. processes; FTY, OEE measurements, visual management. Deliver improvements through building and integrating new processes and leading standardization of existing processes. Model standard work application and adherence.
- Develop KPI’s and manage through business operating cadences.
- Employ systematic prioritization and influence to identify opportunities and trystorm and then scale improvements within manufacturing operations.
- Go to Genba to ensure daily management is happening and model behaviors needed to sustain.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university + Minimum of 10 years of experience in program management/manufacturing excellence
