Brief about the role/team/candidate requirement:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Indian national to join our Flight Safety team as a Flight Safety Manager. This pivotal role involves monitoring Cockpit Voice Recorders (CVR) to identify SOP deviations and violations, conducting safety training, audits, and inspections, and supporting regulatory compliance and investigations. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in aviation safety protocols and operational experience on ATR-72 or A320 aircraft.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Type Rated Captain on ATR-72 or A320.
- Minimum 5000 hours total flying experience, including 1000 hours as PIC on ATR-72 or A320.
- Experience as Line Training Captain, Type Rated Instructor, or Designated Examiner is a plus.
- Prior experience in an airline flight safety department is advantageous.
- Preference for candidates who have served with IndiGo or as Flight Inspectors with the regulator.
- Experience supporting Annex 13 investigations is desirable.
- Permanently medically unfit candidates will be given preference.
Desired Skill Set
- Proficiency in CVR monitoring and analysis.
- Expertise in safety training, audits, and inspections.
- Familiarity with aviation safety protocols and regulatory frameworks.
- Basic proficiency in MS Office tools
