Purpose of the Job
This position manages a team of intermediate or experienced professionals in Manufacturing Operations. Establishes objectives and guidelines for managing and monitoring cell performance and productivity. Directs scheduling and sequencing of work, as well as production innovation to optimize production.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• Operations Manager must ensure that the manufacturing operations assigned with will operate at highest standard in Manufacturing Practice in relation to:
- Health and Safety
- People
- Quality
- Delivery/Productivity
- Cost
- Continuous Improvement
• Manages a team of cell leaders to ensure all quality related items are complete and documented
• Ensures all quality related items for multiple cells or a complex cell are complete and documented to meet established quality standards.
• Directs cost reduction and process improvement to ensure efficiency of operations and cost effectiveness.
• Directs scheduling to meet production schedules.
• Sets the sequencing of work, such as build and delivery, to optimize productivity.
• Leads materials and logistics problem resolution to ensure availability of materials and smooth operations.
• Manages multiple cells performance and productivity to maximize productivity.
• Directs production innovation, including additive manufacturing, to enhance production capabilities.
• Liaises with customers to understand customer needs and issues and ensure that the customers receive satisfactory standards of services.
• Adheres to participate in all EHS practices and standards across the site, including but not limited to proactive reporting of observed hazards and recommendations to ensure the safety and well-being of self and others
QUALIFICATIONS
• Graduate of any Bachelor’s / College Degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Studies/Administration/ Management or equivalent
• 8 years relevant experience in manufacturing set up, with specialized knowledge is an advantage
• In absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience is required
• MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint proficient
• With background and understanding on ERP system (E1,JDE or SAP)
• Strong written and verbal communication and reasoning skills
ELIGIBILITY
• Must be at least a year in his/her current position
• Must not be under Performance Success Plan
• Must not have had any disciplinary case within the past year

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.
Hybrid: Employees who are working in Hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite. Ratio of time working onsite will be determined in partnership with your leader.
Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home). An employee may be expected to travel to the site location as needed.
