Barnes is seeking a Manager, IT Service Delivery Americas to lead their IT team. This position will report to Global Director IT Infrastructure & Service Delivery. This individual will have the dual responsibility of managing existing IT systems and services, and supporting initiatives to enhance those services. For existing services, the role will be responsible for maintenance and improvement roadmaps, vendor relationships, and continuous improvement of the services. For projects, the role will work with internal and/or external resources, as well as cross-functional teams. The role will be expected to provide project leadership, solution insight, technical guidance, implementation coordination – all required to support existing IT Service, Client operation and successfully deliver initiatives. The successful candidate will have 5+ years prior managerial experience, be a key partner to operating management, be a “hands on” manager when needed, have strong business acumen, excellent writing and presentation skills, and vendor management skills. The candidate will also be required to identify best practices and emerging technologies giving Barnes a competitive advantage in a high-growth manufacturing environment. This role requires strong problem solving and analytical skills, as well as the ability to take on multiple tasks in our dynamic environment. A broad technical background is a must.
Core Responsibilities:

· Responsibility for IT Service Desk, Client operation and the IT group help desk performance. Collaborate
closely with Infrastructure and Business Application teams.

· Establish and document local policies and procedures.
· Foster strong relationships with our vendors and manage vendor service contracts.
· Ability to safely deploy/update critical business applications using change management protocols.
· Management of Web services related to Customer Services, SBU web sites and intranets,
· Requirements definition of Development/Applications computer hardware, software, and
communications equipment.
· Ability to manage deployment and integrations of critical business and customer applications.
· Management of short and long-term roadmaps, predict resource requirements, and set appropriate budgets.
· Collaborate with business stakeholders, senior management, and other functional leadership as a business partner to improve business efficiencies. Continually look for process improvements. May participate in or lead corporate or departmental quality or process improvement initiatives.
· Develop and execute IT plan based on business strategies. Participate in the development of regional and global IT strategies.
· Development, management, and tracking of capital and operating budgeting.
· Ability to travel approximately 10-20 and work flexible hours, with on-call and occasional weekends/evenings.
Qualifications:
· 5+ years IT experience in mid to large, enterprise, multi-location offices as Leader of a Service Delivery team.
· Experienced in leading a Regional or Global IT ServiceDesk
· Experience working in an engineering/manufacturing environment
· Project management skills, business partnership focus, and ability to work with and communicate with all levels within the company
· Excellent interpersonal skills, including strong oral and written communications with technical and non-technical team members
· Experience defining and implementing policies and procedures
· Experience with the following technologies: ServiceNow, Windows client environments, security technologies, M365, CAD/CAM/PLM Applications, IoT technologies; Experience supporting users in Engineering and Manufacturing environment
· Experience with ERP, CRM and manufacturing, especially cloud-based enterprise systems preferred; Familiar with Microsoft technologies including the M365 suite
· Ensure security of data and personal information, follow security standards, procedures, and guidelines in accordance with SOC 2, ISO 27001 and NIST frameworks and controls
· Strong leadership and people engagement skills; leads by example using leadership effectiveness (EI). Develops effective working relationships which foster integrity, trust, and respect. Experience working in a global multi-company and multi-national IT environment preferred.
Education Requirements:
· Bachelors degree or higher in information technology, computer science, related field or equivalent work experience preferred
