Job Description:

Tasks

What youll do:

  • Develop material planning strategies aligned with LTME’s MRO schedules and sales targets
  • Forecast demand for spare parts using maintenance data and usage history
  • Set stock levels/reorder points to prevent shortages and excess
  • Manage urgent requirements to ensure operational continuity
  • Lead sourcing, negotiations, contracts, and supplier performance
  • Coordinate with LHT Purchasing Alliance and leverage group contracts
  • Build relationships with OEMs, suppliers, and vendors for cost-effective supply
  • Ensure regulatory compliance (FAA/EASA/GCAA/LBA) in procurement
  • Lead and develop planners and buyers, ensuring clear roles and communication
  • Drive KPIs for availability, cost savings, and supplier performance
  • Promote training, digitalization, and automation of processes
  • Collaborate across functions to align materials with operational needs
  • Ensure adherence to aviation, HSE, and company standards
  • Mitigate supply disruptions with contingency planning
  • Maintain documentation and traceability for airworthiness
  • Oversee export control compliance, screening, and licensing

Requirements
