Bachelor’s degree in an Aviation, Engineering, Science, Business, or related field and / or holder of a pilots or engineering license for more than seven (7) years.
• Seven (7) or more years managing commercial aviation operations, logistics, continuing airworthiness (or repair station), maintenance material control (stores), MRO or OEM maintenance management, or other related non-safety management role.
• Five (5) or more years managing at least one function in safety or quality management systems.
• Practical working knowledge of at least one safety management systems software.
• Practical experience delivering an organizational certification in at least one ISO quality standard.
• Thorough understanding of Aviation Composite Risk management.
• Expert knowledge of ICAO Safety standards and Aviation emergency management procedures.
• Working knowledge of GOI Air Law, DGCA Regulations, and relevant requirements of SMS applicable to an air operating certificate.
• A depth of working knowledge of quality management standards and qualification process, preferably ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001.
• Working experience with some of the following: MS Office Excel, Word and PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams, Power BI, Task Manager.
• Working leadership-level experience with an Aviation SMS software, preferably SMSPro, Baldwin, or Vistair.
• Knowledge of operations and maintenance data analysis and improvement programs. (FOQA, LOSA, HUMS, vibration analysis, etc.)
• Willing to train and work with new people.
• Willing to work in diverse groups, at all times of day, across numerous time zones when required.
• Fluent in English; Bahasa Indonesia preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
• Master’s degree in Aviation Safety Management, Business or related field is preferred.
• Fifteen (15) years aviation operations, maintenance, or safety management experience, seven (7) years of which has been in a post-holder-level safety and quality leadership role for a commercial air transport operator or customer.
• Experience managing, leading, or integrating security management systems.
• Current IATA-IOSA, DGCA, EASA, FAA or other Aviation Safety Management training or certification.
• Experience leading an initial FSF-BARS or IATA-IOSA certification for a commercial air transport operator.
• Certification in at least one recognized quality management standard / system.
• Certification / qualification in Composite Risk Management and Aviation Risk Management.
