Position Summary
The purpose of this job is to manage overseas division trading product sales increase in terms of profitable growth in Win strategy; to ensure premier customers’ and Parker’s needs are met, she or he’ll liaise regularly with colleagues from other departments such as country sales, engineering, quality, purchasing and production, and senior managers in MSDK; to introduce modified, improved, and/or advanced technology to our premier customers who have not yet acquired Parker differentiated product knowledge and system solutions of the material or technique in question. The development of a new account in a new emerging spanet and trading product sales for division profitable growth are important duty in this position.
Responsibilities
- Position responsible for driving Profitable Growth and Customer Service strategies of the Division through trading product sales and supporting overseas divisions’ lead time, quality and cost improvement. Must effectively interface with trading business division departments and staffs. Works with minimal daily supervision but keeps team leaders and staff informed of project status.
- Plan and execute strategic trade business promotions to support the overall sales in Distribution and OEM channels
- Meet trading business sales target and production expectations by initiating sales campaigns and following assigned goals.
- Understand of profitable growth in Win strategy and support value pricing in differentiations for trading products and systems
- Plan his and/or her annual secured order goal and strategy aligned with group/division plan and strategies.
- Forecast accurately sales demand based on period directed by local customers and report regularly.
- Manage daily trading products’ lead time, delivery and quality status and visually or vocally communicate with OEMs and Distributions.
- Complete weekly and monthly report (result and forecast) to support inventory management for trading business.
- Complete weekly reports to support trading business area monthly and quarterly business reviews in accordance with pipeline funnel and commercial issues.
- Preliminary check Standards cost (Intercompany price) with all related overseas divisions every fiscal year start before two months (usually May) and share a result of the Y of Y deviation with Division teams.
- Assist to simplify a trading product category plan and tactics
- Manage overseas divisions’ new product developments, projects, and programs with Division teams.
- Participation and attendance in trade shows, road shows and user group events, to exhibit, demonstrate, display innovative trading products and system solution technologies
- Introduce and promote new trading products with digital methodologies (tech seminar, online demo promotion, field application, etc.) to current premier and potential customers.
Qualifications
Qualifications
- Four-year degree, preferably in Engineering, Engineering Technology or business discipline with related experience.
- Over ten years’ experience in sales or trading business in a related industry.
- Demonstrated ability to organize and manage multiple priorities using effective problem solving / resolution skills and a team focus.
- Knowledge and understanding of program development processes
- Strong understanding of customer and product dynamics and requirements.
- Demonstrated strong and effective analytical and communication skills; written, oral and interpersonal.
- Demonstrated negotiation and/or facilitation ability.
- Ability to multi-task, work independently and employ effective time management skills.
- Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to spanet and sell.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing improvement program and processes.
- Program management experiences are preferred.
