Job Description SummaryThe Legal & Compliance (L&C) Lean Leader is responsible for transforming Legal processes and results through the application of GE Aerospace’s Lean principles and Flight Deck. Specifically, this role will partner with the L&C sub-functions, driving both a change in operating mindset and ensuring Flight Deck is applied effectively in support of operational Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and strategic Lean projects. Roles and Responsibilities
The L&C Lean Leader will serve as a facilitator, educator, and advocate to the L&C function to drive the understanding and application of transactional Lean principles and tools, including Flight Deck. This will be accomplished through:
- Partnering with the L&C sub-functions to prioritize and solve problems based on voice of the customer related to SQDC (safety, quality, delivery, and cost);
- Establish and support a kaizen event rhythm and leveraging that activity to develop lean proficiency for L&C leaders and employees;
- Coaching the Daily Management process including daily management meetings, Genba walks and Kata coaching cycles;
- Delivering performance improvement through the execution of Lean improvement projects and progress on Legal KPIs, incl. action planning;
- Working with colleagues to quickly deploy new, best-practice capability and processes across the L&C function.
Required Qualifications
- At least eight (8) years working in the Audit, Operations, Program Management, or Compliance organization of a large, global company.
- Bachelors degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 10 years of relevant experience)
- Ability to travel up to 10 of time both domestic or international.

- Experience leading indirect and cross-functional teams to implement key business initiatives and projects
