Job Title: Lead Harness Technician
Job DescriptionJoin our team as a Lead Harness Technician, where you will lead a dynamic group responsible for assembling prepared materials like wire, cable, and sleeving materials, in alignment with IPC620/Mil-Spec workmanship standards and customer requirements. You will perform a variety of manual tasks including loading connectors, twisting wire/cable, installing labels and ty-wraps, potting, soldering, and assembly preparation. Additionally, you will operate stripping machines as well as other manual tools.
Responsibilities
- Verify traveler documentation for accuracy, including part numbers, revisions, and quantities.
- Inspect materials for physical damage or defects.
- Prepare cable by cutting, de-jacketing, and stripping.
- Perform basic assembly tasks such as loading connectors, applying labels, and heat shrinking.
- Assemble harnesses using a board.
- Sign work order travelers after process completion.
- Ensure proper identification and safe packaging of all materials.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Maintain a safe working environment and report potential hazards.
- Be punctual and adhere to work schedule, including breaks and lunch.
- Perform additional duties as required by supervisors or department managers.
Essential Skills- Ability to read and comprehend instructions and follow established manufacturing and safety procedures.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Three to five months of related experience and/or training in the electronics field.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- IPC 620/610 and J-STD-001 certification is preferred.
- Soldering and crimping expertise.
- Experience in box building and ESD practices.
- Leadership skills in a manufacturing setting.

Work Environment
Work in a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility equipped with advanced technology and tools. The environment emphasizes safety and cleanliness, with a strong focus on teamwork and efficiency. Physical demands include standing, sitting, and walking for several hours, as well as the ability to carry up to 20 lbs. Safety is a priority, and adherence to safety protocols is mandatory.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Centennial, Colorado.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $38.00/hr.
