As the Lead Account Manager in Tasmania for our Building Solutions business you have the scope and ownership to drive our customer relationships to the next level. The primary purpose of this role is to develop our strategic accounts and drive Honeywell’s offering & increase business content in the region.
Responsibilities
- Business Partner to the customer, understanding their business, drivers, and organisation to assist the customer to drive to real business outcomes. Early engagement in the customer buying process diagnosing customer’s needs and tailoring solutions to match
- Engage technical buyers, economic buyers, and relationship buyers; engage customers at all levels in an organization including executive level decision makers.
- Maximize the business potential of our customers, and act as the primary supplier interface for all products, solutions and services and provide consultative support by building value propositions for solutions in the account.
- Responsible for achievement of revenue, margin plans and economic value-added goals and customer specific pursuit plans and annual customer-facing business reviews
- Strategic account planning, managing quarterly results and defining long-term account goals. This includes identifying new sales opportunities, acting as the focal point for account and sales plans, proposal strategies, contract negotiations.
Qualifications
- 5+ years’ experience in technical understanding of BMS solutions / Technical sales / Technical Support
- Electrical / Mechanical Trade or Tertiary Qualification
- Sales experience an advantage, not essential
- Ability to obtain required security clearances
- Financial and business acumen
