Raytheon’s Javelin Program is seeking a highly motivated candidate to serve as the Life Cycle Contractor Support (LCCS) Program Manager, reporting directly to the Javelin Weapons System Execution Director.
The Javelin LCCS program provides peacetime and wartime worldwide LCCS with Javelin Joint Venture (JJV) operated support facilities for sustainment of Javelin Weapon System hardware that has been accepted into the fleet by the United States Government (USG) and FMS customers. Services include:
• Program management
• Repair / return of weapon system hardware / equipment
• Transportation
• Engineering services
• Supply support
• Technical manuals
• Training and Live Fire support
You will be responsible for program integration, coordination, and control and direct engagement with the program team and functional partners, in pursuit of day-to-day program execution; advocating Program Management (PM) plans, processes, and business objectives including the management of Earned Value metrics and Risk and Opportunity processes; the implementation of PM best practices.
What You Will Do
- Responsible for meeting contractual commitments including financial, technical, and schedule performance of assigned program(s) within contractual boundaries and company expectations
- Develops program enhancing partnerships with internal functional organizations such as contracts, finance, procurement, manufacturing, quality control, logistics, configuration/data management, and administrative functions
- Leads the program risk and opportunity process in accordance with specific financial goals and obligations
- Execute daily program management and cadence i.e., risk review boards, customer reviews, failure review boards, program reviews, staffing, and decision reviews to achieve contract commitments
- Execute and maintain Program Management Plans and Program Directives consistent with program requirements and Raytheon Missiles & Defense (RMD) policies
- Coordinate customer program reviews, prepare for customer visits
- Lead and support proposal and capture efforts to include Basis of Estimates (BOEs), startup activities, Responsibilities & Capabilities (R&C) and gating processes
- Identify and implement key program assessments and metrics to lead development of situational awareness charts and performance assessments to enable program success drivers by program leadership teams
- Expected to support domestic and international travel as needed
Qualifications You Must Have
- Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and 10 years of relevant experience OR an Advanced degree and minimum 7 years of experience is required
- Experience leading cross-functional teams to include, but not limited to any combination of the following: Engineering, Contracts, Finance, Procurement/Supply Chain, Manufacturing/Operations, Quality Management, and/or administrative functions
- Experience balancing technical, cost, and schedule on a program
- Leadership experience in either an IPT organizational structure and/or an iPL (integrated Program Leadership) construct
- The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Qualifications We Prefer
- Prior experience supporting Depot, Life Cycle Services, Logistics programs, preferably in the aerospace and defense industry
- Experience developing and reviewing cost proposals and synthesizing Proposal Review and Contract Start-up packages for management review and approval
- International experience with Foreign Nationals inclusive of basic understanding on Licensing and ITAR requirements
- Working knowledge of contract formation, execution, and management
- Proficiency with Raytheon Program Management tools or similar program management systems

The salary range for this role is 118,000 USD - 246,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
