Role Summary
* The company is seeking an Inventory Management Support B to perform receiving, stocking, kitting, issuing, and inventory control activities in support of program and operational requirements. This role ensures accurate material handling, inventory accountability, and compliance with government and corporate policies while supporting manufacturing and supply chain operations in a fast-paced environment. Education & Job Requirements
* You must have
* A high school diploma or equivalent.
* A minimum of 4 years of experience in inventory control or stockroom operations, including receiving, storing, issuing, and kitting of materials.
* The ability to work independently with strong attention to detail and minimal supervision.
* The ability to read, write, and understand policies, procedures, and computer-generated reports.
* The ability to accurately complete paperwork and computer-based data entries.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate in a diverse, multi-disciplinary team environment.
* A strong work ethic and commitment to organizational success.
* Adherence to all health and safety standards established by the company and regulatory agencies.
* The willingness and ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to moving mechanical parts, dust, fumes, chemicals, and loud noise levels, with reasonable accommodation considered on a case-by-case basis. Preferred Skills
* You will have
* Experience performing material management activities using Costpoint and or SAP Ariba systems.
* Familiarity with quality management systems such as ISO or AS standards.
* Experience working and interfacing with suppliers, manufacturing teams, inventory management, quality, and engineering functions.
* Experience supporting supply chain operations beyond inventory control through cross-functional training or utilization. Job Duties & Functions
* You will be able
* Receive incoming materials and verify quantities against purchase orders by counting, sorting, or weighing items.
* Process material receipts into the companys computer-based system of record.
* Package, label, and stock materials in bins, racks, or shelves according to part number identification.
* Build and issue kits or individual parts to support program and manufacturing material requirements.
* Move and transport materials from stockroom locations to production areas as required.
* Conduct periodic, special, or perpetual inventory counts of stock and company assets to maintain full accountability and accuracy.
* Adjust inventory counts in property records as necessary to reflect accurate inventory levels.
* Maintain 5S standards within the stockroom and storage areas.
* Identify and correct conditions that may affect employee safety while upholding company and OSHA safety standards.
* Support cross-utilization within supply chain management functions as needed, including shipment processing, testing event support, property accountability inspections, and other related duties as assigned by supervision. Physical Requirements
* Able to
* Lift, push, pull, and carry objects weighing between 25 and 50 pounds on a regular basis.
* Walk, bend, kneel, sit, stand, climb, and reach for prolonged periods of time.
* Use hands and fingers to grasp, handle, feel, seize, turn, and operate material handling tools and equipment.
