Position Summary
Position Summary
The Innovation Project Manager is responsible for directing, administering and executing research and development activities for new product designs to meet the needs of the spanet and within the capabilities of our manufacturing environments. Performs, directs and administers special projects. Under administrative direction of the Filtration Innovation Center Director, establishes standards of performance within overall policy and budgetary limits, with direct accountability for final results.

- Project Development - Accountable from start to completion of project goals, objectives and budgets to develop new and improved products while achieving target costs for all components.
- Technical Consultant for component and system problems for internal and external customers. Must be able to effectively communicate with customers, sales/spaneting and other division, group and corporate personnel to resolve technical matters dealing with projects.
- Coordinate and communicate with material suppliers on new materials or processes applicable to new products.
- Align internal divisions and outside suppliers to ensure that support for master timing, test and validation plans, prototype needs and budgetary constraints are agreed and met.
- Serve as primary point of contact for customer interface and status on new products being developed for alternative spanets.
- Leads the project team to achieve its chartered purpose and desired outcomes, ensuring team is trained as required.
- Creates and tracks the Master Gantt for the entire program, ensuring deliverables and milestones are met per customer request.
- Creates, establishes and ensures that system and component validation test plans are met and that the end product meets or exceeds customer expectations as outlined in customer value proposition.

- Bachelors Degree (BS) in mechanical, electrical or related technical discipline.
- Previous experience with new product launches and commercialization.
- Knowledgeable in the manufacturing process with a background in design.
- Highly organized with the ability to see projects through to completions while responsibly holding others accountable for their contribution.
