THE POSITION
As an IT Manager, Collaboration Services, you will play a crucial role in driving effective communication, collaboration, and productivity across the organization. Our Collaboration Services team is responsible for providing innovative solutions and technologies that enable seamless collaboration and information sharing among employees, teams, and stakeholders. Additionally you will partner with cross-functional teams and senior executives to understand business needs and develop technology solutions that meet those needs.
You will report directly to the IT Director of Workplace Employee Experience. This role will work out of our Morris Plains, Charlotte or Houston location on a hybrid work schedule. This position is intended to convey to the new, independent company, to be named Solstice when the separation occurs. This is expected to occur in late 2025 or early 2026.
In this role, you will have a significant impact on the employee experience by providing innovative technology solutions that enable a modern and flexible work environment. You will drive the adoption of digital tools and platforms that enhance communication, collaboration, and productivity. Your leadership will play a critical role in shaping the future of workplace technology at Honeywell.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design, implement, and support collaboration tools and platforms, such as video conferencing, instant messaging, document sharing, and project management tools (ex: Zoom, Microsoft Teams, MS Co-Pilot, Outlook, SharePoint, etc.)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into effective collaboration solutions.
- Provide expert level technical support and troubleshooting for collaboration tools and platforms.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, bringing innovative ideas to drive continuous improvement.
- Conduct training ps to educate employees on collaboration tools and promote adoption and best practices.
- Monitor and analyze usage and performance metrics, and make recommendations for optimization.
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure integration and compatibility of collaboration tools with existing systems and infrastructure.
- Manage vendor relationships and contracts related to collaboration services, ensuring service level agreements are met.

Qualifications
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelors degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in configuration and implementation of collaboration tools and technology
- 2+ years management of O365 & Teams tenants
- 2+ years experience in configuring and managing Zoom, Outlook & Sharepoint services
- Experience with conference room integration of collaboration tools (MS Teams)
- Demonstrated experience in inetegrating collaboration tools with enterprise class systems such as SAP
- Demonstrated ability to project manage global projects in the collaboration space
- Strong vendor management skills & experience working across geographies
PREFERRED
- Experience in supporting remote and hybrid work environments
- Knowledge of industry best practices and emerging technologies in workplace engineering
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Continuous improvement mindset and experience implementing process enhancements
