Position Summary
The Head of Maintenance ensures the safe, compliant and efficient running of the line maintenance operations around the globe, organic and contracted heavy maintenance activities, and maintenance control operations.
Role and Responsibilities
- Oversees all maintenance operations to ensure they are conducted in accordance with the applicable regulations and the company procedures.
- Ensures that all maintenance, preventive maintenance, and alterations are performed in compliance with applicable regulations and standards.
- Supervises and directs line maintenance manager, heavy maintenance manager, and manager of maintenance control personnel, ensuring they are properly trained and qualified for their roles.
- Implements and maintains the tanker maintenance program tasks to ensure the airworthiness of all articles maintained.
- Must be able to lead subordinate managers and coordinate and prioritize very heavy workload.?
