Job Description:

A fast‑growing startup drone company is a leader in autonomous flight technology, building intelligent drones for consumers, enterprises, and government customers. As the fleet expands, delivering a seamless repair and refurbishment experience becomes essential to the company’s mission.

Role Overview

We are seeking a Hardware Repair & RMA Manager to lead the design, management, and evolution of our repair and return systems. This person will build strategies, metrics, and workflows that ensure we deliver world‑class repair and RMA services—both in‑house and through external partners.

The ideal candidate has strong experience managing repair and RMA programs for consumer electronics, is fluent in operational KPIs and cost optimization, and thrives in cross‑functional collaboration across logistics, fulfillment, production, customer success, and sales.

How You’ll Make an Impact
  • Design and manage systems for RMA and repair, ensuring they scale with the company’s growth.
  • Establish and track KPIs, cost baselines, and goals to measure repair program success and efficiency.
  • Develop long‑term repair strategies, product end‑of‑life support, and partnerships for external repair/refurbishment.
  • Evaluate and improve workflows, including repair processes, system integrations, and technician training.
  • Scope and manage system improvements, collaborating with third‑party developers to implement changes, upgrades, and feature rollouts.
  • Partner cross‑functionally with logistics, fulfillment, production, customer success, and sales leaders to align repair/RMA processes with broader business objectives.
  • Leverage AI and low‑code tools to streamline processes and drive automation within repair systems.
What Makes You a Good Fit
  • 4–6 years of experience in repair/RMA operations, ideally within consumer electronics.
  • Strong electro‑mechanical experience across consumer and industrial electronics.
  • Proven ability to design and scale repair and RMA systems with measurable results.
  • Familiarity with tools such as NetSuite, Quickbase, Arena, Jira, Databricks, and Salesforce.
  • Hands‑on experience building applications or workflows in low‑code platforms and using AI tools for problem‑solving and automation.
  • Strong analytical skills with a track record of building and reporting on operational metrics.
  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in a technical field.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills.
Why You’ll Love Working Here
  • Shape the future of autonomous flight by building repair programs that keep drones in the air.
  • Join a team of passionate engineers, operators, and innovators working at the cutting edge of AI and robotics.
  • Play a critical role in improving customer experience and operational efficiency at a rapidly scaling technology company.
