We are seeking a Manager levelHealth, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) professional to join the Honeywell IndustrialAutomation (IA) team. This individual will be a member of the NebraskaCity Leadership Team, responsible for driving HSE continuous improvement, compliance,and engagement within our manufacturing sites The role reports to the IGS/SMEDirector HSE and has multiple direct reports.
As an HSE Manager, the successful candidate must be results driven andable to develop strong relationships with the site manufacture leadership team. The candidate must be compliance focused andprovide hands-on support to factories with the ability to deploy continuousimprovement through a strong MOS; to drive goals, objectives, improve cultureand behaviors.
We are looking for a strong people and process leader, capable ofmanaging, coaching/mentoring HSE and factory supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing and executing a compliance strategy; both Honeywell HSE Management System, and regulatory requirements at the manufacturing location.
- Heavy focus on injury reduction through culture and behaviors initiatives.
- Leading the execution of the IA HSE vision and mission through deployment of the HSE ISC Management System.
- Partner with the site leadership to achieve the ISC goals and objectives.
- Ability to reduce the risk profile in by identifying gaps through self-assessment, audits, GEMBAs, and 3rd party inspections.
- Strong ability to use Honeywell Operating System/Lean Practices and Principles to develop, deploy, and continuously improve HSE results and improve efficiencies.
- Work in concert with IA HSEPS to assure consistent and effective auditing of regulatory requirements and Honeywell Level 1 and Level 2 Standards.

YOU MUST HAVE:
- Bachelors degree in safety, engineering or related technical field.
- At least 8 years of progressive health, safety, and environmental experience, with increased responsibility.
- Leadership experience in managing people.
- Knowledge and experiencein manufacturing environment
WE VALUE:
- Preferred, broad knowledge of Honeywell policies, procedures, and processes.
- Knowledge and management experience with global aspects of HSE and Sustainability
- Firm understanding of OSHAs standard as well as their Voluntary Protection Program (VPP)
- Ability to communicate and influence decision making to all levels of the manufacturing facility
- Strong collaboration, program management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work autonomously to achieve organizational objectives.
- Mature judgment and decision-making ability with strategic and tactical HSE experience
