Ground Operations Manager – Spain

The Team
You’ll be joining our Ground Operations team, where we work together to deliver world-class safety standards, operational excellence, and a seamless customer journey every flight, every day. We collaborate across stations and functions, ensuring easyJet’s standards and objectives are achieved through strong partnerships and effective communication.
The Role
As Ground Operations Manager, you’ll be responsible for managing, overseeing, and delivering safe practices and procedures across your assigned area. You’ll drive performance excellence, maintain cost control, and ensure a consistent customer experience by:
- Implementing and maintaining safety and standards management processes, proactively identifying trends and correcting deficiencies
- Developing robust communication with third-party suppliers and documenting reports for audit purposes
- Working cross-functionally at station level to achieve easyJet standards and objectives
- Delivering improvements and solutions at underperforming stations, reporting operational issues, and liaising with procurement teams for successful commercial outcomes
- Spending time out in the network to ensure delivery of the easyJet product and positive relationships with suppliers
- Ensuring ground handlers communicate effectively during disruption, meeting legal requirements and protecting the brand
- Managing and influencing airports and ground handling providers to meet regulatory requirements and contractual service levels
- Leading local business disruption teams as appropriate
