Tasks
During his/or her shift and dependent on the assignment focus, the Duty Manager is responsible for but not limited to:
- Establishing relationships with premium customers and facilitating the recognition of top customers
- Checking that the appearance and attitude of all personnel corresponds to standards
- Conducting daily flight briefings with personnel
- Steering, monitoring and troubleshooting all station related processes
- Fostering quality awareness and high service attitude in daily work
- Collaborating with the Station Manager in the general organization of the station, including but not limited to IT, system accesses, accounting, filing, training, database and reporting tools
- Applying and maintaining the Safety Management System
- Maintaining all local instructions and system databases
- Supervising the adherence to and proper documentation of surveillance checks
- Having functional authority over the LHG and supplier staff members
- Making sure that the technical and logistical aspects of training activities are performed
- Reporting operational irregularities according to the operator’s manuals
Requirements
The ideal Duty Station Manager should meet the following requirements:
- High school diploma/GED required
- Bachelors/Masters degree desirable
- Minimum 2-3 years of work experience - thereof a minimum of 1 year of demonstrated work experience in ground operations is required
- Leadership experience required
- Excellent written and spoken English and French language skills required
- Knowledge of German language desirable
- Industry knowledge required- Individual LHG operator’s specifics.- Other airlines.- Knowledge of airport procedures and processes
- Computer skills as a user- PC and Campus supported software including all MS Office programs
